I have a 2015 T5 SE with Eberspracher Airtronic M, D3 Plus, per the door plate.
The problem I have is, that on cold nights, because the temperature sensor, I believe, is located in the heater inlet, the heater comes on before the temperature has dropped sufficiently in cab area. I would like to install a cab temperature sensor and have this to replace the sensor located on the heater inlet. So, I am hoping that I can somehow disconnect the heater inlet temperature sensor and then wire in a separate temperature sensor in the cab area that the system will use instead of the heater inlet sensor.
Has anyone done this? And if so, please provide the necessary details?
