Auxiliary heater

Why would the heater in the passenger compartment of my T6 Ocean always be blowing out really hot air, very uncomfortable when driving as the driver seating area is toasting, i have tried turning it off (even though it was off) tries turning the temp down, tried turning the main heating down but still it spouts out really hot air.

PS only when the engine is running, when the van is off the heater is off

In my T6 if you close the vent next to passenger window the other vents blow very hot. I’ve never figured it out, everything else works well on the system.

You have lowered the temperature or switched off the rear heating system using the Controls in the rear above the bench seat behind the sliding door?
