Awning attachment!

Having major issues attaching a drive away awning! The rail is 8mm no Hadith strips available that size nothing holds it securely! If it’s on the wind up awning it can pull out in windy weather! Help any suggestions?

Having major issues attaching a drive away awning! The rail is 8mm no Hadith strips available that size nothing holds it securely! If it’s on the wind up awning it can pull out in windy weather! Help any suggestions?

You'll need to use the wind out as the rail is designed to take a rubber awning strip in order to make it suitable.

Open the wind out by around 30cm or so, attach the drive away to it and wind in the awning to take up the slack.

This will solve it, the two Kador section slides into the rail on the van.
