Martin Adams had the wind blockers at Hollands wood and his tie downs had a triangular
Piece of material sewn onto the end of the strap with some awning piping to slide into the channel if that helps :thumb

I have a spare brand new set of these for an Omnister awning - If anyone wants them £15 delivered just PM me ****SOLD***

Jesus ...!!! i didn't even get a look in at those m4rky .... :laugh2 .....

John is that not what the tent pegs that come in the cali are for ??

Andy the small pegs supplied to go through the awning feet may steady any sideways movement but they would not hold the awning down in any moderate wind or gust. The pegs just are not very substantial.

The plates shown would increase the size and number of pegs by 8 holding the awning legs down.

These plates may not be the answer to high winds or strong gust but you would not want to put your awning out in those conditions anyway.

Photo of the DIY awning tie downs. Hope you can see how they work.

I may commission your dad to make me some of those clips Chris :)

Nice Job Chris. :thumb

I managed to make my DIY attachments with some modified meat hooks but they do not look as neat as yours.
