Hi there,
We're a retired depute headmistress and university professor with a 57 plate 174 4Motion 5-pot - Off Road grey, no awning.
We use it conjunction with an OZtent R2 (ugly, heavy but brilliant in bad weather and can be erected in a minute).
We have a Vanorak and tend to sleep upstairs rather than downstairs (very comfy, doesn't need a topper).
We've had it a year and done about 15K miles in France and the West Coast of Scotland.
Meets always seem to be arranged when we're busy so never been to one.
They're usually in the deep south 400 miles away though so that might be another reason.
Might organise one in Scotland one day for the Scots on here (we're actually English, been in Scotland since 1969).
Promise never to surround parked van with a circle of potted plants and then water them
