battery recharge issues

As a novice, I stupidly let my battery go down after not using in November and December. I have now fixed that, but am left with a 'Switch on Lights' notice on the dash all the time and also the steering wheel controls do not work! What to do?? Anyone please!

Are you sure your indicator stalk isn't up or down as that turns on the parking side lights which gives a dash notice

On a 6.1 Ocean this usually means the vehicle lights (lower right of dash) are in the off position instead of the auto position.

Perhaps clarify the other controls? Volume, channel? Info display? Cruise control?

If they are all not working it might be worth a warranty claim?
