Bellows Bungee Too Tight

Have just returned from annual trip to Provence and was talking to a Dutch Cali owner who had fitted a homemade bellows bungee and pulled it up rather too tight and found his brand new roof coming out of its channel in one corner the roof. It pushed back in quite easily but it is yet another thing to watch out for.

That's a good point I always make sure I can get my hand under easily
In each corner. The quick clip is designed to let go if its put under too much strain
