Bench seat rail slots

Anyone worked out how to get sand/dust/muck out of these? I know their are two "holes" that can be accessed but the rest of the slots defeat me. Considering trying brushing the muck to the larger hole are with an old toothbrush...!

Our mega power vacuum deals with everything else fine but the slots are just too narrow to fit the "crevice nozzle" into (Miele Cat and Dog cylinder one).

I have used a piece of garden hose pipe duck taped onto the end of my dyson accessories. Take care to leave some extra breath hole. The hose pipe can be pushed between the rubber rail and then moved up the rail. Amazing what you find.
