This is very near, not stayed there for many years so no idea of quality.Hello everyone any tips on a safe place to park while we watch the match would be greatly appreciated
Thanks very much planning in staying near Newport Caravan and Moterhome site looks bit long winded on the train bus so wondering about park and ride type options some good ideas much appreciatedIts been a few years since i lived in south wales - but I am guessing you are talking about six nations game coming up?
Normally its difficult to move about on game day in Centre Cardiff with 70k+ people getting to the stadium.
If you are brave and going in your camper - I would try and get to park near the Museum , King Edward VII ave and Museum Ave. If going in the car - then easier access is Cardiff Queen Street carpark. Both those locations you can walk through the main shopping to get to the Stadium.
Or do what the locals do and come in on the train. You could stop and park at one of the smaller stations - Heath High Level or a bit further up with Llanishen. This will then take you straight into Cardiff Central and you are a hop skip to the Stadium. And you get to feel the atmos with the other fans. There are many other directions coming in and options similar.
Even go as far out as Cardiff Bay and get the train from Bute back to Cardiff Central.
Good luck![]()
