i don't know who you are david white,but it seems you have been given moderation. If you look back on AlternativeKim's posts it can be seen that she/he has an issue with cyclists and posted non-related posts on this thread to wind-up fellow bike enthusiasts before. If we all go round posting on topics that we don't like or find boring then everyone would be uncivil to each other and she/he had been asked nicely before to not post if the content was not related .

I've noticed your attending cotf 2014 in July ... I'm sure to see you there Kim .. I think I'm one of the more easy going members in the club and will be helping out where I can.
I'm sure there's an interest out there for you and if there's not a thread on it then start one ...

This is a thread about bikes. Your only three posts related to bikes is about how boring you find them. How about posting in all the threads in this section to tell us how boring you find running, surfing, kayaking, etc boring too?! :crazy

How very silly.

I guess the point of owning a Cali or Beach is not that you own it, but what you do with it. What makes them such a wonderful vehicle, to own, is that they open so many activities to you. This is the essence of a campervan.

I started this whole section on the forum to allow Cali and Beach owners, with similar interest, to exchange ideas tips and experiences. Interestingly this thread, started by Lee, has become one of the most popular on the whole forum. I guess that it shows that a lot of our members are passionate about bikes and cycling when they are out and about with their Cali's.

I would say AlternativeKim get out there, with your own Cali, enjoy your own chosen interest and then share your experiences here. I would also say the same to others, to share here your Cali and Beach experiences, doing the things you enjoy. There are many others forum members, like me, who will enjoy reading about it. :cool

Exactly John ... I've had a look and i don't think Kim has any interests other than cycling ..
Maybe the cali isn't really for her and it's a shame and a waste ... Maybe a more coach built motorhome would be better used .... :smile

on a lighter note aren't these uber cool for us pedal power non-sense of humour fitness freak boring people that use our cali's for something other than camping ....

How cool are those? Sadly you can't cook pizzas in a Cali!
I make them from scratch quite often; but cheat with the dough by using a bread maker!

Cali hob on lowest setting. Put pizza in a frying pan with a lid on......wait about 10 minutes.....and there you go......

Main bikes are Cyclocross merida and trek 6000 mtb.

Looking for a 29 inch hard tail mtb at the moment. Recomendations welcome.






What do you think to the whyte bikes 29ers hard tails Mtb ? Am just considering one myself :?:
