Liking the Contis
Was hoping to see some POV of a full sendFar from expert however love them too over the maxxis Minion DH.
New tyres are slippy because of the release agent they use in the mounds, a good wipe with petrol gets it off. Still best not trying to scrum them in in the wetCrumbs that rear tyre looks slippy. Not even sure I would offer to scrub that for you.
Bike is brand new. I’ll take it easy for the first 100 miles or so. New tyres, new brakes. Not as many BHP as my last one, only 155 vs 214.It’s my eighth new Ducati… I’ll be cautious!Crumbs that rear tyre looks slippy. Not even sure I would offer to scrub that for you.
Thanks! Nice bike. Love the dry clutch.
It’s a lot of fun - rattles like a pig but I love itThanks! Nice bike. Love the dry clutch.

Oooh - lovely bike the 1198. I’ve been tempted a few times to move on but I love the classic air cooled v twin with a dry clutch. I’ve only done 4K miles on it in the last ten years so at that rate it should see me out!My last dry clutch was my 1198s. Really miss it.
Agreed. My last one was a Panigale V4 but back to V2 now. Classic DucatiOooh - lovely bike the 1198. I’ve been tempted a few times to move on but I love the classic air cooled v twin with a dry clutch. I’ve only done 4K miles on it in the last ten years so at that rate it should see me out!

Craner is amazing, flat out then big brakes for the old hairpin. My old bike is geared for 118 mph flat out in top.Flat through Craner?
