Off to the bike shop with the Thorn triplet, Brompton and Islabikes Luath.

For my wife I built up a Sonder Colibri endurance/gravel bike with some nice fat 35mm Panaracer GravelKing semi knobbly tyres. The best bit Is the matching orange bar tape, seat clamp and disk rotors… sad I know!

I’ve got a Sonder Camino - great bike. Actually Alpkit do some excellent outdoor gear - good quality stuff too.

Training for an attempt at LEJOG IN August by taking the Cali around to different sites and doing 5 longish hilly road rides.
My Specialized Tarmac Expert Disk is my trusty steed and today we completed a 70 mile circumnavigation of the Isle of Wight

I've had my Checkpoint a month or so now, I really like it so far.

It's only a km/h or so slower than my road bike but I'm having fun exploring routes I've previously only done on my MTB or linking up interesting road routes with trails in-between. It needs better wheels but other than that I'm very happy with it.

Had a great day exploring, crossed 3 pretty deep rivers thank god I had my waterproof socks on.
Im glad I didn’t got for ebike as only had to get off once.
Super light and first 29er I’ve ridden handles amazing and will be able to ride it all week whilst stealth camping in the mountains.997E5967-9F18-4A11-B671-E16D787FFDD7.jpeg
