Bike rack storage

Just got new to me T6 and going through the storage options. It has the Thule bike rack fitted and whilst I don’t need it for a cycle I was wondering if It would safe to use A flexible bag or similar on it.

Thule do something similar, not sure what the weight limit is on the rack. Have a look with the search function, sure they'll be plenty of posts on here about it
