Need some help if ya can plz?
Got me my first VW but it has a really strange fault with the internal blower, I have done stacks of research with no joy so any advice or solutions would be great.
The blower motor runs and kicks in fine but when I try and direct it to specific areas/ vents it doesn't change and the temperature tries to cool but just heats up! i have a digital climate control in my T5 and I have changed the resistor with no luck. It's like the flap actuators are not kicking in, any ideas guys?

If you have the 3 zone Climatronic system, see below.

Nice one will be trying this first thing

Have you scanned it for fault codes? The climatronic will also give you fault diagnostics. Tons on YouTube on how to do this.

You may have a failed flap motor.

I have tried scanning it but both the reader I have bought doesn't give me any fault codes and tbh I have searched and watched hundreds of videos on YouTube none of the issues seem to match mine and the ones that are close I have tried with no success. I have taken a few of the flap actuators out ( the ones i can get to ) and given them a good check and they all seem fine. The climatronic i have doesn't seem to appear in anything on you tube

When you say “given them a good check”, did you open them up and check the cog wheels inside?
They crack around the centre splines which means they just spin on the shaft.

VCDS will identify the exact motor that is not positioned correctly, if that’s what is causing your problem.

Other than that, remove the entire dash!
