Bluetooth Stopped Working

I have a 2015 California. When I picked it up last year the dealer connected by iPhone etc via bluetooth and all was working perfectly. I was out in the van today and I noticed it's stopped working and didn't automatically connect to my phone like it usually does. I tried to re pair my phone but when I scroll through the menus the phone menu has disappeared. I tried to call the dealer but they closed at lunchtime so will try again on Monday.

Has anyone else had this problem? If you have how did you get it working again?

It might be through the multi function display on the dash rather than the radio unit??

If it's anything like my VW it only connects if the phone is in the van before you start the engine.
If the engine is running and you jump in with the phone in your pocket then there is no chance of it connecting.
