Brandrup Airsafe needed - I have the wrong one!

Preparing for our trip to Austria and Solvenia in August was trying out the Brandrup Airsafe we bought a while ago.

Couldn't get it to work at all...and finally figured out I have the wrong model!

Mine is for door WITHOUT automatic latching

I need one for a tailgate WITH automatic latching.

Sadly these are all sold out on-line or with long lead times that won't arrive before our trip.

Don't suppose anyone has a spare they would consider selling?

Yes it does, I have one, still in packaging, never used.

I am considering ordering it from there to see it if will arrive in time - but slightly put off by the fact the shipping costs to the UK are almost as much as the item itself!

I just did a quick check with DHL for shipping to the UK from the Netherlands. 37€ WTF???

With PostNL (slow mail) it may take 2-3 working days and if the weight is below 500 grams, it’s 10,55€. Up to 1 kg it’s 12,45€.

That’s still pretty expensive giving the cost of the item itself, but if it’s cheaper than what Poptopshop is quoting you, I’m willing to sell you mine (still in plastic, never used).

Actually having gone through the the checkout on poptop, the cost isn't so bad as they take off the VAT. So have ordered from there, fingers crossed! Thank you again so much for you help, I really appreciate it. This forum is the best.
