Just had some work done on my California right at the end of the warranty. Breeze have been great and really helpful in getting a few minor niggles sorted quickly and efficiently at the end of the warranty. They even sorted my rear window blind, replacing it outside the warranty as I thought it was stiff.

They kept me informed all the way through and swapped the loan panel van they gave me for a day for a lovely new caravelle when they couldn't get the parts in over the weekend. Made life much easier and they seemed to understand the thing about, you paid a lot of money for the camper, you need it sorted out properly. They just got it without me having to mention it. All credit to Vicky, Andrew and the technicians.

Good stuff all round.

When I had my t4 one of the technicians diagnosed my cam belt tensioned broken on Saturday lunchtime when I took it in asking the parts dept for some vacuum pipes. When I mentioned I was going on holidaying it on the Monday at lunchtime he came into work at 05.00 on the Monday morning to get the cam belt, tensioner and water pump changed and sort out a chaffed circuit. He'd sorted it all out by 11 am and I was able to make my trip in the camper. Can't fault it.

I have to agree, they are one of the better VW commercial service centres :thumb

They get our vote

I went into Breeze in Poole to find out about a fuse for the 12v power socket system on my Cali last week.

They were equally helpful. The Van Tech looked up my Cali with VAG online and then double checked with a continuity tester on the showroom Cali. Happy to chat and must have spent best part of 30 mins with me.

He did say they have a Cali specialist techician who travels round all of the Breeze workshops. So he has probably dealt with most of the Calis living around Breeze's showrooms at some time or another.

BTW, they have a 180 Manual pre-registered in Sand Beige, Zenons, and parking sensors in the showroom, just waiting for a buyer...

I would confirm I have had first class service from both Poole & Totton (Southampton) branches of Breeze.

I can second that, brought my Van from Breeze Poole they kept we well informed throughout the long process and responded quickly to email. Efficient delivery and handover then for day to day stuff I went to Southampton and still do just down the road from me. Happy friendly guys.

Breeze Poole is my local VW centre and they did not seems too interested in selling me a Cali, no discount, no real effort just told they could sell all they get and they don't need to entice buyers. Honest perhaps I had but a much nicer experience with Heritage in Dorchester where the salesman, Steve who used to work in Breeze, was informative and friendly and with whom prices were competitive. Heritages main Cali centre is in Bristol where the van was prep'd and then sent to Dorchester on a low loader.

The South does seem to have some decent dealers however and I'd happily use Breeze for parts and accessories. They also have a biggish eBay outlet for bits.

Original Review from @Meoncoast

I have always (since 2012) had 1st class service 5 star from Breeze in Totton (Southampton)I trust them with my van and feel they always care & respect it. They do not sale the California at Totton but over the years I have seen more and more Cali's in for work there. Not only have they serviced my van they have sorted a couple of Cali issues - stuck down bed and electric switch in rear. They always go out of the way to help, Derek Govey in the service department is the face I know and work with. They also open early and close late.
