Anyone have any idea what this broken piece of plastic could be from?
Found it when cleaning the drain-pipes today

Maybe this piece? I understand it is quite common for it to break.

I am sure I read somewhere that you need these to lock the roof when closed? Or did I dream that?
Think tou may have dreamt it. Mind you we all have nightmares about the 6.1 roof :)
 
Have a look here - I’m sure it helps engage locking mechanism.
Not sure @Azteccamper ? It’s obviously there for a reason but I don’t think it affects the roof locking? I suspect it is to stop the raw metal edge rubbing against it’s ‘mating’ part? Just a guess.

This probably explains why the hinges on my van have started to grind against the roof
