Buying Thunder Alloys - Confused !

Hi,

I am looking to replace my 16" wheels with a set of Thunders, there are quite a few sets on Ebay but the tyre sizes are different to what the ones are on the Cali, I am assuming this is because they are taken off panel vans and not Calis.

In the manual it says the tyre size is 235/55/R17 but the ones on Ebay are all 215/60/R17C

Are these no good for the Cali?

I thought they were 215's. That's the size of the tyres on both my transporter and cali although they are both 16" not 17.

Some Thunders have winter tyres on which are thinner,the other wider size is for summer tyres,you can specify either when you order a new Cali.

Taken from 2014 price list. Tyres, winter 215/60 R17 C 104/102H – – £110.00 £132.00
TYRES 235/55 R17 low rolling resistance Summer Tyres. Both fine so depends on your needs.

my calli came with thunder alloys and the tyre size were 235/55/17 103
