Anyone know if a Cali will fit, or any un-height restricted parking nearby?

I have used Wapping Road parking before. It's just a cleared piece of land, but never had any issues security wise. I think Cabot will be fine, haven't taken the Cali in there, but have parked a Discovery with no issues.

There is some on road parking around Cabot Circus, £3 for 3 hours, etc. The whole of the central area is a nightmare for driving around at present. Lots of road works for a new bus system. You might find it easier to leave the Cali in a secure Park & Ride, they are at Brislington on the A4, Ashton on the A370 and Shirehampton on the A4 near Avonmouth and take a bus in. They will drop you in the middle of Broadmead with no stress.
As a local I got stuck on Friday early afternoon and took 1½ hours to do about 5 miles, that is knowing the side streets. Look on Google maps, add the traffic layer, look in horror. This is also quite useful, it is the live traffic feed from TomTom - http://livetraffic.tomtom.com/ Good luck, Simon

Thanks to everyone, chickened out and headed for Bath instead. Charlotte Street car park (amused my Charlotte) . No height restrictions and came back to the Cali parked with .....you've guessed it.....another Cali. Had a lovely chat with Fanny's owners before heading back up the M4.

Yes I have taken my Cali in there a few times. You do slightly 'bump' a plastic barrier that hangs from the roof at the initial entrance but it gets easily brushed out of the way as you drive in. The height inside the car park is fine. You won't have any problems
