Cali cap and drive away awning

I have the California rail insert for my drive away awning to use the figure of eight and kador. I also have a Cali cap which attaches to inserts In The awning rail. I can't now have the Cali cap and awning on the van together but I would like to use both any one have any solutions ? Tia

Assuming you don't have a pull out awning fitted to the Cali?

Thats correct I don't have a wind out awning just use the insert in my Cali rail to reduce the rail to the kador size.
