I told a story once about a dentist.

I carry loads of VW California club cards. Every time that I see a Cali so one gets popped under a windscreen wiper.

I have distributed dozens of these, some Cali's in my local area got more than one.

A couple of years ago I needed specialised, delicate, long treatment form a. partner at my dentists. I checked in and whilst stood in reception a shiny silver Cali goes by. It then turns into the private car park and out emerges my dentist.

"Oh! Nice Cali" says I.

"Yes", said the Dentist, "love it".

"are you in the Cali club" said I, jovially,

"No" he growled " and if ever I find the bugger that keeps sticking cards under my wipers .............. "

Gob stayed firmly shut until wedged open half an hour later
