"Bike Porn"-your rides and how/where you use them

Had my Rise M10 for a while now - did 55 km in the Peak District today and it still amazes me how versatile it is, and how well the battery lasts.

Here’s mine, only got in to cycling during lockdown but very glad I did. Have toyed with the idea of swapping this out for a new TCR but to be honest this bike’s much better than I am. And now just blown the budget on a Cali anyway!

Still on the original motor? :mute
Original motor thus far, tad noisy but less so following a sw update a couple of years back. Main power cable outer split and was repaired with gasket sealant. Have a 2nd gen spare cable thats ready if needed. 1500mls on it frame bearings all smooth, only ever cleaned dry. Rear 2 piece mud guard keeps most debris out of the motor covers/casing. Should probably get round to service/lube of the fork and shock. Original dropper post died so fitted a wireless asx unit and ditched the cable routing issues. Great bike, so much fun. Had 63km out of 700w battery in lake district borrowdale bash and old coach road/Blencathra in one ride with charge left.

My wife loves it. Great thing is to swap for bigger front rotors and more suitable tires

My YT Industries Capra Pro

Purchased in 2015, not used for a few years. Reading this thread has given me a kick to dust the cobwebs off and start using it again. Bike park Wales was a favourite place, now I have the Cali I can do a 2 day trip.

Used a shuttle here at Faaker See and enjoyed the trails around the Ossiacher See. Unfortunately they are dealing with some heavy wind and some trails are closed. Still plenty to explore and have fun on the trails. Underrated region of Austria IMO.
Close by lakes and the boarder of Italy, Slovenia and Germany offering some fine trails for every riding level.

Deliberating whether to haul our bikes down to Ile de Re next month or hire when we get there?
Anybody hired bikes down there and if so how much did it cost and was the quality of the bikes good?

My Riese & Müller Delite in the Austrian Tyrol last week. Makes 71 year old feel young again (sailors will note a nautical theme).

Do you take it out in the van? If so how do you transport it? Currently have a trailer with ours, but would love to get it hitched on the back somehow….

Yes, I finally found a solution. I share a photo when I can. I bought the new Thule Epos rack which works great! I also bought a “swing away” towball arm so I can swing the rack to the side to open the hatch instead of dipping the rack with a heavy bike. I always remove the battery when on the rack to save weight.
