Lots of posts on the forum about toppers/SIMs etc.
A bed is very much a personal thing, what one person finds comfortable, another may say is too hard/soft etc. think Goldilocks and the 3 bears.

Nothing wrong with the VW comfort mattress if you prefer a firmish mattress and it folds up perfectly to fit the parcel shelf.

Ah, that is the extra padding I have seen on the back bench I assume, thanks for the alternative review.

The 2015 108SE I had an eye on has gone, so back to the search. Just wait according to https://vwcaliforniaclub.com/threads/newbie-looking-for-a-cali-but-feeling-disheartened.37017/ and should be more as winter approaches
