How does this operate under normal conditions ?
How long does it normally blow out for before it cuts off , then cuts back in again ?
Just curious to check its operateing correctly.

Thanks for that quite good informative well explained video .
still not sure once the heater is on , how long the fan blows for before thermostat kicks in to shut it off , an then when kicks back in again in normal use , does not mention that ?

If you know the temperature inside the vehicle, the ambient outdoor temperature, whether the roof is up or not, how often doors are opened and which direction the wind is blowing and its speed then I'm sure it can be calculated.
Basically depending on the Heater setting it will heat the internal air until the intake air, intake drivers step, reaches a certain value and then the fan speed and fuel pump noise reduce. It the intake temperature rises too high the heater turns off and will restart when it drops, otherwise the heater can continue in a baseline condition to maintain the intake temperature.
There are too many variables to give you a definitive answer.

Good answer i found that usefull , thanks .
So in theory under average conditions say 6 degrees outside temp , doors closed , roof closed .
Once the intial fan has blown warm air into van , say set at number 4 which is around 18 degrees , which i estimate could run for 10 to 20 mins then shut off . Then the heater should go quite , for long periods and only kick in now an then .
Not used it yet , so just wanted insight so i no its working in correct procedure when i do .
