The more think about it I'm sure a Dr Who Tardis would be easier to understand an operate .

Firstly viokswagen need to fully update manual to fully explain the whole system .
No were near thorough enough .

Volkswagen don't no how it works , sales staff don't no .

Sales staff should be put on full day course , so that they able to fully explain an demonstrate this correctly .

I can explain in 15 seconds, but you have to understand what I am saying.

1) Normal heating system: like in all vehicles, when the engine heats up, you get heat from the dashboard ventilation system.
2) Webasto engine coolant heater: kicks in at 7°C. or below. This heats up the engine coolant so you can have faster heating inside, see 1).
3) Stand alone air heater. Can be operated by remote or on the California display. This only heats up the air in the van.

How about this for a day course?

No need to mention nr 2 you're confusing him. See the other 300 threads he has started regarding the heater.

Seek help, you’ve lost the plot. How many threads and posts have there been by you on this? Probably over 30.

Confusion is members are comparing different models /
I have cali ocean T.6.1
Must be same model to do comparison

One way sort this confusion out
I will call both
Webasto and Eberspacher direct
And hopefully find out what actual heaters are installed in the Cali T6.1 Ocean

I've got an Ocean 6.1 and I too reckon that you are over complicating matters and repeating the same points despite being given some exhaustive help and advice across numerous threads.
Time to put this topic to bed now perhaps?

Yes but no one referring to TICK BOX , for supplimentry heater , under vehicle settings within radio panel
Have you seen this

Too many diversities on the heating system , an not everyone on same page .
Made more complex by volkswagen not actually specifying in manual , what heaters in california an how they both operate and work .

Have you tried asking the Facebook group, I’m sure you’ll get lots of answers on there :)

My OCD gets triggered when I see 'no' and 'know' confused. Even worse than 'there', 'they're' and 'there'.

Yes the heater settings can be confusing, but getting the very best out of this forum means asking concise questions then reading and trying to understand the answers rather than rambling / venting.
In my humble experience.

Someone needs Ventilating...........I feel better now! I am sick of reading the same thing over and over again!

Is it a red herring he is holding in the avatar?
