Hi we have some issues with our recently purchased cali se 2008,fridge not working even on hook up. I am hoping to find someone local to me who works and knows calis like tge back of tgere hands. I’ve heard vw will just replace things before finding small faults first. We are in the Aberdeen area. Anyone out there got a go to guy/girl?? Thanks

I doubt if you will be lucky to find a VW Dealer or even an Independent VW specialist who can deal with and troubleshoot the camping side of things. Apart fro the hydraulic roof everything else, fridge, water system and Parking Heater are to be found on many VW conversions and Motorhomes. You could look for a family firm that specialise in conversions and Motorhomes/Caravans to sort those problems out and leave the Transporter vehicle and roof to the VW Dealerships or Independants.

Turriff caravans do conversions. You could try them although I have no experience of them, I have heard they are good.

Thanks. I think my leisure batteries and fridge controller unit is needing replaced. I’ll give that a go first.
