Good point.
Our town gets quite a few tourists. I would be more than happy to see our town car parks being used at night (respectfully) for a small fee.
Surely a great way for local councils to create revenue and more importantly bring extra £££ to local businesses

Torridge Council in N. Devon charge £5 for overnight. Try the car park on the sea front in Appledore. Great pubs and shops. Great walks. Big surfing beach 2 miles away.
