California step light

Hello all. Is it possible to turn off the California step light with the side door open when camping ?

Isn't that connected to the interieur light in the cabin , try to swith that of and check it.
Button is in the middle of roof

If you turn interior light off in cab it should also turn off step light .

Ok. Interior light above the mirror is switched to O. Step lights still come on. Am I being silly ?

They must of changed it on the t5 just noticed yours is a t4.
