CalMac - sales?

Does anyone know if CalMac ever do any sales/discounts, e.g. Black Friday, that sort of thing? I assume possibly not given their ownership roots, but we're looking to book with them for some peak time holiday slots next year and wondering if it's worth waiting for any deals, or just to book when it's available?

I’ve never seen any deals personally and can’t imagine that Calmac need to resort to offer them, given the demand for space often exceeds availability on many popular routes.
Unless anyone knows anything different of course?

No. As I understand it, the prices are already effectively subsidised by Scottish government.

The fares were reduced considerably a number of years ago when the Scottish government aligned them to RTE.
