I thought the engine battery powered the roof hydraulic pump, not the leisure batteries.

did you ever solve this? I have this issueHi we are away in Spain at moment and the past two mornings the carpet is wet in dpi get bit between seats, any ideas anyone please. We have a carpet on top to protect original. Nothing hS been spilt or dripped. Thanks
Hello, my issue was that the new radio was installed and they put the cables in the ducts meant for the rain . Not my doing, that’s how I bought the van. Obviously discovered this and had to have it rectified and all is fine now. So maybe think if you have had a new radio or camera installed or the ducts are compromised . Hope you get it sorted soon . Thanks for letting me know. We think it’s something to do with the fresh water tank.Hello, my issue was that the new radio was installed and they put the cables in the ducts meant for the rain . That’s exactly the issue we had. New carpets replaced and no more leaks. My van / T6 California has just been in for wet carpets between seats which occurred several times with no known obvious cause.
The dealer has now just phoned me and says they have found the problem due to a kinked feed pipe from fresh water tank to taps which was leaking when tank is full over level of pipe until below pipe? ( don’t ask me???) I will try and confirm on collection
They are now awaiting replacement carpets, but hopefully good result
Hope this is of use to any others with same problem
Ps , they also said roof drain holes were blocked although not the cause, but should be routinely checked and cleaned out
