Cleaning Jackyards Seat Covers

We love our Jackyards seat covers, but after a messy few weeks they are looking at bit scruffy. What is the best way of cleaning them? Can you put them in the washing machine? Or is there something that you all do to get them sparkling again?

I wash ours in a machine on the delicates programme at 30 degrees. They come out nice and clean and have no obvious problems. I’d let them air dry though. I aim to wash them one or twice a year but have only washed them twice in six years!

Concur with @orital. + sponge off spills, and I have not used fabric conditioner { much of my walking gear says no fabric conditioner, so I went with that for covers}.
