Cleaning the mattress covers

It seems that there are micro zips on the upper and lower mattresses, Has anyone ever tried cleaning them, and if so what is the best method?

I've posted this here, because I can't find the "new topic" button on the Cali cleaning section.

Hi, I cleaned all mattresses covers using washing machine. I have removed them and washed. Not difficult then to mount again

Now the summer is over, i'll try removing them to get them washed.

Hi. Did you manage to wash them and do they look OK.

They are taken off and washed each summer now, before we head off for our main hols. They still look good - we use the cold wash setting. Only thing is the micro zip can be a bit of a pain to get undone, but worth persisting with.
