Comfort Insurance Renewal Terms

Just received a renewal notice for my one year old Cali.

I haver been given two quotes - one with and one without breakdown cover.

I seem to recall that during the first 3 years VW provide breakdown cover via the warranty . Am I right or did I dream this ?

The cost of the comfort breakdown addition (circa £55 ) seems reasonable but would rather not duplicate.

Anybody know the answer before I start trawling through the warranty paperwork ?

You get European breakdown cover for the first three years of the vehicles life

Insurance companies and banks seem to have a predisposition to selling add-ons of dubious or no value. Doubtless thanks to the commission culture these organisations have.

If they con you, you are lucky to get your premium back. If you con them, they void the claim.

One is wise to be very, very suspicious of these industries.
