Control Panel not working

Hi
Tried to use the diesel heater for the first time but wouldn’t work.
And now to make matters worse, the control panel is dead.
Have tried removing fuses but to no avail.
Van warranty ended in Dec.
Does anyone have any advice please?

If anyone can recommend a VW specialist preferably in the Coventry area I’d appreciate it.
Seen some worrying posts on here about potential costs
