Hi all, the symbol on the bottom right of the screen is flashing between G (battery being charged by alternator) and the symbol for plug (charging from mains).
The manual says there is a malfunction and to get it checked at a workshop.
The van is not plugged in at the moment and we are on a camp site in Devon. Any suggestions on what to do. please? Thank you

Try a reset of the CU first. It’s a computer after all... Switch it off and on (reset) and most issues are gone...

Yes as @bvddobb says, a reset of the control panel should do the trick, hold the round selector and back button in at same time.

Cheers all, I just done the same with mine! Who knew you needed to charge these batteries every now and again! Had this since new , never missed a beat and rarely hook-up!
Great forum, thank you!

Great website. Searched same flashing symbol and the answer given above has sorted the problem!

Fantastic! Just worked for us too :thumb

We took our van out for its first trip of the year earlier today, but noticed that our leisure battery was dead after a couple of months without a run. On arriving at the campsite and hooking up to the mains the battery indicator was flashing between G symbol and mains charge (exactly per the original post). We couldn't find an answer in the owner's manual, but a quick search on this forum turned up the solution - as always!

Thanks to @bvddobb for posting the fix

This also fixed my Flashing G problem . Thanks

Yes! The flashing symbols have gone, hallelujah! Now I just need to fix the water pump and find a replacement cube fuse for the leisure battery. Almost impossible to buy anywhere. Any ideas?

Hi & thanks for the tip - it has just helped me too

I know this is an old thread but I had the same problem after a weekend away. A quick search on here and resetting it as described above worked for me too.
