Cool box does not stop cooling

ArcticMatt did you ever get an expert opinion on the fridge? I have a similar situation with the fridge apparently running but no cooling happening. And the sensor seems to be reading right. Wondering if it's worth pulling the whole thing out to send away or whether I should start off by having the electrical control unit tested instead. Be interested to hear your experiences.
No not yet. We've have a family bereavement since the. So everything was on hold. I was hoping to get it taken to an air-conditioning specialist but they suggested taking it to the local motorhome dealer and they will just end it sending it away so is still say on the floor. Maybe next month I'll get it checked out.

Hopefully getting it into a fridge specialist this week now that I'm back in Norge. Took the bottom off it and found quite a bit of green so I wonder if there is a little leak in there.

If it ever helps anyone, this is what the fridge looks like totally stripped down. It's at the refrigerant place now so I'm waiting for good news. It was initially drawing 4 amps at start up but then it drops down to about 3 after a minute or so.

:thumbIt'll be fine Matt. Keep us in the loop.

Finally fixed!!!
Proff-Teknikk of Fauske finally got around to recharging it. They couldn't find any leaks so it must have just died after almost 20 years. All for the grand total of 1175nok (£108). I managed to get it all together apart from losing one of the rubber feet for the compressor. Currently cooling one carton of orange. Now I've got to get the lump back in. It's still only drawing 4amps but it's not dropping off like before. Phew!

Good luck getting it in without any squeaks and aligning the lid

I've had the lid off a few times now. Its the chew of getting the back door off that sucks. I might get the electrical control unit out first a give it a good clean before I box it up

Funny you mentioned that. The bit of wood the lid is hinged to did not want to go back in without some gentle persuasion! Thankfully it's all back in and chugging away. Cool beans!!!
