Cali now sold
Tomorrow, all being well. I shall be picking up my new California Ocean.
I’ve been around vans for a long time and had the Cali Beach almost 6 years.
But I’ve realised I don’t know a lot about the Cali Ocean with regards to fuse location/gas best places to store stuff etc etc.

So, what do I need to know...???
The Basics which may come in handy

Any video links with tips and tricks I may not be aware of...

Excited :bananadance2

Maybe it's the moderator in you!;)

Quite handy if you’ve got notes on an iPhone or equivalent you can send these images to notes along with other important stats like wheel torque settings, van dimensions, spare bulbs etc.

I use this image at the top. Useful reminder/ferries etc.

I assume you've seen all the California Chris Ocean related video's?
There are others too but he covers gas, electrics, console.....
But I really posted to say congratulations.
My personal tip is to make sure that the inspection hatch on the waste water tank is is tight enough (but not too tight). When you fill the fresh water tank and rinse through as per handbook you can see the waste water tank level with the cupboard door open. So when it gets to the inspection hatch level you will see if it is water tight.
I don't think its a common issue but I think mine was just not tightened properly before i got it so I found out the hard way with water running down the inside from the hatch.

2020.
Yeah did come across those videos. Really good.
Not seen all of them yet, something to do at work when it’s quiet.

Liverpool VW seem really clued up on the Cali.

Looks fab, I'm sure you will love the Ocean as much as the Beach but for different reasons. Spill the beans, 204? DSG?? etc :thumb

204 DSG, 2wd.
Got the usual toys apart from cruise, but will get Hazzy to fit ASAP and a towbar.
Comfort mattress and comfort lighting etc nav, Bluetooth, additional sliding window.
Seems a nice spec.

12months old, 570 miles when I picked her up today.

Day 2.
California earning its keep...;)
