Hi all, loving this site for info, has anyone bought dash cam that stays on 24hrs without getting hot? Just bought F770 sent first one back as tested it on dinning room table “got hot”, spoke to dealer he said send it back “shouldn’t get HOT” have another one they sent ( as could be faulty ) testing it on test reader (brother test engineer has all test equipment ) this too seems to be getting hot! Insurance won’t cover you if Camra sets fire. Need camera that stays on 24 hrs. Thanks nutty nanny

Guess every electric divice get's hot after plugged in or used for long periode.

I normally leave it plugged in so in that respect yes it is a 24hr camera. I have an indoor USB fed security camera that also runs warm, so I don't think it's an issue. The circuitry is processing a lot of data so I would expect it to generate heat.
