Dashboard storage lid

Has anyone managed to take this mechanism apart ? Mine keeps sticking in . I've tried some spray etc but still same.

Mine did exactly the same yesterday Just moving the latch seemed to sort it out.

moving the latch does rest the mechanism yes but every time i press the button it jams in. no big deal i suppose but thought i might attempt to fix it
