Hi,

Both the diesel particulates and glow plug lights are flashing away like Christmas lights on my dash.

We are supposed to by going to the Cotswolds on Tuesday and do not have time to get this sorted out before we go.

Is the van going to be okay driving long distances with these two problems?

What advice could you give me please?

Thank you.

I've driven a few 1000kms with my light on, the last time it was the lambda sensor that
needed replacing.
I've had a few of the lights on over the years and each time it has always needed a sensor
replacing. Non have been life threatening to the van.

If you can, you need to get it into a garage where they can read the faults that its throwing up,
they might just reset it and see if they come back again.

Its hard to say because the fault codes need reading.
I have risked it in the past and i would do again but i have breakdown cover
as a backup.

If you still have VW Assist - you get priority booking & turn around at dealers. They will also do diagnostic at the roadside.
