Strange, I drive a T6.1 and regularly select music from our SD card - must depend on which console you select? We didn’t change the default console - see photo…

Ah, I’m driving a Beach Camper T6.1 … just figured transporter T6.1 probably has a different standard console - sorry!

I did have a T5.1 Cali and that had an audio in (aux) in the glove box.
My current T6.1 Westfalia has no audio in but does have 2 USB C sockets which can be used to for connecting a memory stick.

So if I have portable compact dvd player in my T6.1 , I CAn connect a 3.5mm aux plug from headphoneoutlet on dvd player , to the C USB below radio , would sound come through vehicle speakers??

Looked on line they do 2 mtr lead at Maplins, 3.5mm aux on one end and usb C the other end .
I take it the 2 x C usb points directly below radio , connect to the radio ? ? ?

But I presume to allow sound through van speakers, would need Aux button on van radio, or does media button do the same thing ?

If you use the head unit camping to watch a dvd you will flatten the main car battery.
