Drive away awning - which side?

We're looking into getting the Kampa Touring Air drive away awning for longer trips away. The awnings entrance to the van is shown on the left side so the van will be facing back to front. I'm concerned in case the connecting tunnel is offset. Has anyone got this set up? (I thought about getting a right side access awning but some campsites get funny about this). many thanks!

I have the very same predicament so would be great if someone out there has an answer.
Part of me thinks it would actually be more useful to have the boot at the front of the awning. I was also considering the Kampa cross air with 1 or 2 annex as it looks a bit more universal in terms of which way round it goes.
