Driveway awnings

Hi, I'm hoping to buy a second hand driveway awning. My 2012 Cali has the d-out sun shade fitted over the sliding door.. Will a driveway awning still fit? Is there a particular kit available for this?If not, is it possible to fit the sun shade into the opposite side of the van?

Will fit on either side.

The roller awning has a hidden slot (just pull it out a bit and you will see it)
