DSG Freewheel

My Cali manual states that there is a freewheel mode in the settings menu. It doesn't show up on my MFD.
Can anybody shed any light on this function?

Some info here. It is called Coasting, available on the DSG. I do not know if it is engine specific.

I guess it could be Andy, although none of the dealers I spoke to prior to buying mentioned it. It would save some fuel and emissions. Mine isn't BMT.

We certainly have it on our 2014 DSG with bmt.

We have it it our 180 DSG BMT, but my sons 180 DSG Sportline does not; I guess, for some inexplicable reason, because it's not BMT.

Our 2012 DSG manual refers to it, but it's not a feature we can change via any menus. Not sure if it needs to be enabled by the dealer, but we definitely don't have the option to change its settings.

2012 wasn't blue motion so doesn't have the feature...
