Sorry if this has been asked before.

When you are on EHU are you using the electricity directly from the hook-up, or from your leisure battery, which is then topped up by the hook-up?

Thank you.

When on 220v mains you use power direct from where you are plugged in and the lesiure bats are beeing charged at thesame time .
Using the plug on the side of the kitchen allows you to plug in a ketlle or other electric divices witch you can normally not use by just the bats.

if you use the socket on the side of the kitchen on top you are taking electricity directly from the EHU. If you use the small socket at the bottom with a max power of 150W you are pulling electricity from the batteries which are at the same time recharged by the EHU

All the leisure "things" use the leisure batteries 12V. The invertor will invert the 220V AC to 12V DC to recharge the batteries. You can't use any leisure "things" without the two (or one for Beach) leisure batteries. See it like a bucket of water. You take water out of the bucket, and the water tap just refills the bucket. You don't take the water directly out of the tap. (Does that make sense?)
Only the direct 220V connection is straight forward use.

Most has already been cleared up by the others.
