Electronics pack for T4

Hi All

Looking at buying an electronics pack off eBay, central locking,electric windows, and alarm item number 290743409690 looks and seems like a fair price.

Has anyone ever fitted any of the above and is there anything to watch out for!

Do you have manual winders, since you are looking at this?

Don't remember exactly - but for cable change in my drivers door I think I paid ~£650 (~6.000 NOK) for the cable and installation (50/50) in my T4 2001 California.
(Either that, or it were half that for both. Big difference, but as the dealer paid for it, I haven't put much thought into it.)

Everything is more expensive in Norway - so probably not a good guideline - but as a reference, the ebay price might not be that bad as it includes all the motors and wires...
But will probably be some work for you ...
(I have no experience with installation, as my car came with electric windows and central locking.)


Will see if I can find the price I paid - in case I doubled it as mentioned above ...

Note that this were for the drivers door cable and installation only.
