No camp sites booked as I'm not sure where I will exactley be, so there maybe periods of time I'll be using van without hookup.
I know the controll panel gives the leisure battery's status.

1. How do I know if I am running engine battery low, will I get a warning?
How many miles driving to restore?

2.Is there a gadget I can buy that will reassure me on engine battery status?

I have the 180 DSG ,I will be using sterio say 2/3 hours a day, charging iPad/kindle and phone using approx 1hour interior lighting so can I reckon 3 maybe 4 days as a safe bet? (stationary without hookup).

Apologies if these questions have been delt with before.

Any advise will be appreciated.
Regards Alan .... :thanks

Everything behind the b pillar runs off leisure batteries. Sterio will not run for more than 30 mins without ignition on which will obviously eventually kill starter battery. You should get 4 or 5 days from leisure batteries with sensible use. Charge phone from socket in rear.

Thanks for feedback

If the starter battery did run low but had enough strength to start engine how many miles driving to bring back to safe level (broadley speaking)?

Just me worrying not having the option of a bump start

Cheers Alan

I guess with daytime driving and radio and air con off....about 4/5 hours to full..?
