Extension lead for a Waexo cfx fridge

I'm having trouble finding an extension lead that fits into the Cali 12v socket so we can put our fridge in our awning, please can anybody send me a link to something that works. Thank you

I've no idea what your fridge consists of but I suspect you need one of these....

I would avoid this set-up - you may well find the voltage drop via multiple connections and long cables is too much. Far better to hard wire the fridge to the leisure battery with some higher amperage cable to avoid the drop and the fridge cutting out. More here:

As long as the extension cable is rated for the current you require for the fridge it should be fine. What is the current draw of the fridge? The problem is that many longer cables may only be rated for about 5A.

Not necessarily (BTW if the mods could combine this and the linked topic that would be great as the conversation is going on in two places with relevant bits in both topics ) but multiple connections and thin cable = voltage drop = fridge cut out especially with engine off running. Most of the 12v cig lighter adaptors/extensions etc are cr@p quality and you need higher amperage rated cable to avoid this even if they live up to what they are rated at...

Hi DM thank your u for your response. The connection of th eons I bought off amazon doesn't squeeze into the Cali 12v socket. I wondered if the fittings vary?

Sounds like you may have a Hella 12v outlet?? These are slightly smaller.

If this is the case then you need an adaptor.
