Extra seating

Hello, I can't find any info following a search so.....
I am looking to buy a T6.1 Coast for my family, this will be our only vehicle.
But we sometimes need to carry 6 people (grandparents), is there a 2 seat version of the 5th seat on the market that can attach into the rail system?

I’ve never seen anything on here, you could buy another 2 seat bench but that would be virtually impossible to lift in and out on a regular basis. Also difficult to get and very expensive!

Sounds like you need a Beach.

Hi 2haw, I wanted a beach but they don’t sell them in T6.1 guise. I have also looked at getting an extra 2 seat bench but at 2.5k it’s not an option, especially as it just needs to be a seat and not a bed.

Yep, understand, it is possible but not very practical or financially viable. The seat needs to be substantial and inevitably heavy due to the integrated seatbelts etc.

Not aware of any easy option I’m afraid.

Good evening all? I fitted a double front seat to my VW California a couple of years ago now and was looking to see if anyone knows who would undertake the task of moving the battery and electrics to my drivers seat. The main rational for this is to fit a swivel to the front passenger seat...

With the double bench seat and a single in the rear you'd have six seats.

It is possible to find a solution to put 6 seats in there, but you won't be able to have it approved from a legal point of view for a question of weight.
In fact you'll already be restricted with 5 (no 4 motion), I'm afraid.
